Manzana has announced the new laptop 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro powered by M2 Pro and M2 Max chipswith better performance, efficiency and autonomy, and which will be available on January 24 from 2,449 euros.
The new MacBook Pro comes with “the best display ever in a laptop,” a screen Liquid Retina XDR with a sustained brightness of 1,000 nits, a maximum peak of 1,600 nits and a contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1, with the ability to reproduce one billion colors.
The largest model has a 16.2-inch screenwith a resolution of 3,456 x 2,234 pixels and a panel with 10,000 minileds, while the most compact model reaches 14.2 inches and a resolution of 3,024 x 1,964 pixels.
Apple has highlighted the autonomy of this equipment, “the largest to date in a Mac”, which reaches 22 hours of video playback on the 16-inch model with the M2 Pro processor and 15 hours of wireless browsing. The 14-inch model offers up to 18 hours of video and 12 hours of browsing with the same processor.
The M2 Pro chip too speeds up tasks like rendering titles and animations in Motionwhich is up to 80 percent faster than the fastest Intel-based MacBook Pro and up to 20 percent faster than the previous generation.
In the case of the MacBook Pro with the M2 Max chip, effects rendering in Cinema 4D is up to six times faster than in the MacBook Pro with the fastest Intel processor and up to 30 percent faster than the previous generation, according to data shared by Apple.
Connectivity also on MacBook Pro, which has Wi-Fi 6E, Advanced HDMI -for monitors with 8K resolution up to 60 Hz and 4K up to 240 Hz- three ports Thunderbolt 4a slot for SDXC cards and charging via magnetic wireless system MagSafe.
The company has designed the new MacBook Pro to reduce your environmental impact. This is because it includes materials such as aluminum in the case, rare earths in all the magnets, tin in the solder on the motherboard, and gold in the various printed circuit boards that are 100 percent recycled.
In addition, it incorporates at least 35 percent recycled plastic in various components and does not contain harmful materials. In keeping with its design, the packaging is made up of 97 percent fiber.
The new MacBook Pro models with M2 Pro and M2 Max are available for reservation from this Tuesday in the Apple store, with different configurations, and will begin to reach users as of January 24.
Specifically, the 14-inch MacBook Pro with the M2 Pro chip starts at a price of 2,449 euros, and 3,749 with the M2 Max processor. For its part, the 16-inch laptop has a starting price of 3,049 euros if you opt for the M2 Pro, and 4,190 euros with the M2 Max.
