More than 40 people have been rescued lifeless from the rubble of the apartment building that was destroyed on Saturday by an attack in the Ukrainian city of Dnipro, according to new balances that confirm the discovery of the body of a child on Tuesday.
The mayor of Dnipro, Boris Filatov, has assured on Facebook that there are already 44 dead, while the Ukrainian Presidency has reported on Telegram at least 41 fatalities, including four minors, and 79 injured, 16 of them children.
Ukraine has put this bombing as an example of the abuses committed by Russia during the conflict, with messages of regret also shared with its main international partners.
Instead, Kremlin spokesman Dimitri Peskov denied on Monday that the collapse was caused by a Russian missile, saying that Moscow never attacks civilian targets.
