These units offer up to 3.5 times more performance thanks to the hybrid architecture of its CPU that allows different tasks to be assigned to each group of cores. It is available, in addition to the 16-core Core i9, with a Intel Core i7 12 core and with a 6-core Core i5 that we had already seen in this series. Along with these processors can be added up to 64 GB of DDR4 RAM on 2 SODIMM modules. It also has 2 PCIe M.2 slots that allow you to add NVMe SSDs for caching.
For ethernet connectivity, includes 2 2.5GbE ports that can be expanded thanks to its PCIe 4.0 connectivity to add cards 10 or up to 25 GbE. These PCIe 4.0 slots also allow you to add more NVMe SSDs or even compatible graphics cards. For storage it has 8 SATA drive slots 3.5” at 6 Gb/s. This QNAP TVS-h874 includes the ZFS-based QuTS hero operating system to guarantee data integrity, and which includes a multitude of applications to extend the functionality of this NAS.
For now prices are not known of the different variants available, being only the one that includes the Intel Core i9 available on request.
