How to access the TransMilenio subsidized rate

For this 2023 the TransMilenio rate was set at 2,950 pesos for the trunk service and 2,750 for the zonal service. This implies changes in the transport subsidy that would apply from now on through different rates.

According to TransMilenio, there are two groups that can access this subsidy. The first is for the vulnerable population that meets two categories: aolder adults from 62 years of age and people who are registered in the Sisbén.

Citizens who apply for any of these categories will have to pay $2,500 pesos for the articulated TransMilenio and $2,250 for the buses of the Integrated Public Transport System, SITP.

It should be clarified that these rates are only enabled to make a total of 30 trips in a period of 30 days. This implies that from journey number 31, the payment of the full fare will be charged.

Another case is the disabled population who can also access a subsidiary rate. However, in this case, when they acquire the special Tullave plus card, users can have a benefit of 29,500 pesos. This amount will be credited each month to the card.

Regarding rates, the value of trunk services, including TransMiCable, will continue valid at $2,950 pesos and $2,750 pesos for zonal service for this type of population.

In addition, the transhipment rates from zonal to zonal will be $0 pesos as well as the one from trunk to zonal. As for the zonal to trunk route, it will be $200 pesos within 110 minutes after the first registration. This rate applies to the three groups considered within the TransMilenio subsidiary rate.
