playstation 5 It is one of the best-launched consoles in history. However, the pandemic affected the distribution of new units and the manufacture of components. Despite this, Sony remains enthusiastic about the arrival of the new year and confirms that the worst part of the supply problems is over.
Jim Ryan, CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment, participated in the CES 2023 conference, where he announced that all these problems have already been overcome.
“The supply of PS5 has improved towards the end of last year. I am happy to announce that December was the best month ever for PS5 sales, and that we have sold over 30 million units to consumers worldwide.
Anyone who wants a PS5 should have a much easier time finding one in stores around the world from this point on.”, explained the manager.
Recall that in December of last year, the Japanese company announced that they were restoring the supply of consoles to different countries. This is because the PS5 had disappeared from store shelves and one could only be accessed by entering a waiting list.
