The Ukrainian authorities have denounced this Saturday that at least one woman has died and several have been injured as a result of an attack by Russian troops on a residential neighborhood in the city of Krivói Rog, in the Dnipropetrovsk region, in the south of the country. .
“This insidious shelling took the life of a 41-year-old woman and two more people were hospitalized with shrapnel wounds,” Dnipropetrovsk Region Governor Valentin Reznichenko said on his Telegram social network account.
Reznichenko, who has pointed out that “the enemy does not stop the terror of our towns and villages”, has indicated that a school and several houses have been damaged, while a vehicle that was parked nearby has caught fire.
Krivoy Rog is a city of 600,000 inhabitants that is not important from a geostrategic point of view, but because it is the hometown of the president of Ukraine, Volodimir Zelensky.
