Pokémon GO held the most important Community Day in December. In the middle of the last month of 2022, Niantic highlighted all the creatures that had been through previous Community Days for quite the catching party.
Well, the year 2023 will begin precisely with one of these world events. Basically, it is a day where the entire gaming community can take to the streets to capture a particular Pokémon.
In addition, they will benefit from bait duration bonuses and extra experience per capture. On January 7th, the first Community Day of 2023 will take place with the special capture of Chespin.
Should you evolve it into Chesnaught during the hours of 2-5 PM, Niantic will reward you with a special move called Ferocious Plant, which does 100 damage in trainer and raid battles.
“We can finally announce that Chespin, the Hedgehog Pokémon, will be the protagonist of Community Day in January 2023!” Niantic details on its official blog about this January event.
