Anthem is almost given away on the PS Store; get it for less than $2.5 USD

We talk about nothing more and nothing less than Anthem, the most recent release from BioWare. It is no secret to anyone that it debuted with lousy reviews from critics and players, which meant that its commercial performance was far from what was desired. All this because of its philosophy of game as a service that, without a doubt, disappointed. In short, an absolute failure on all fronts.

We already know that this title has been sold at ridiculous prices for months. For example, a user bought a copy for $0.01 USD at a GameStop store in the United States.

As of this writing, an attractive 97% offer is in effect on the PlayStation Store, so Anthem it can be yours for just paying a really small amount. Specifically, the standard version is available for $1.79 USD in the digital store. The price increases to just over $2 USD if we add VAT.

This offer will be available until January 19 of next year, so you have time to purchase it if you wish. It is important to note that people with an active EA Access subscription can try it at no additional cost.

Hopefully this downgrade will get the servers to see new players. Of course, it will be of little use to increase user traffic. We say this because BioWare and Electronic Arts canceled Anthem Nexta project that tried to revitalize the game with new content and other improvements to the core of the experience.

But tell us, do you plan to give it a try? Anthem now that it’s almost given away? Do you think it’s not worth $2 USD? Let us read you in the comments.
