According to AMD, “We are aware that a limited number of users are experiencing thermal throttling unexpected on AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX graphics cards (reference models manufactured by AMD). Users who experience thermal throttling unexpected problems with your AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX should contact AMD Support.”
It is a clear and concise message, and hopefully, also makes it clear that the support team is aware of the issue and will handle it differentlysince there are several cases in which, before this statement, the AMD support team had rejected user requests, claiming that the temperatures they were seeing were normal.
Without a doubt, it is not the best image for the new AMD graphics cards, but we trust that little by little they will be able to solve this problem and that the cards work correctly after the investigation that is being carried out right now.
