17th Round of India-China Corps Commander-Level Meeting

The 17th round of the India-China Corps Commander Level Meeting will be celebrated at the Chushul-Moldo border meeting point, on the Chinese side.

Based on the progress made after the last meeting held on July 17, 2022, both sides exchanged views on resolving relevant issues along the LAC (Line of Actual Control) in the western sector of a open and constructive way.

They held a frank and in-depth discussion, in line with the guidance provided by the Heads of State to work on resolving outstanding issues as soon as possible, which would help restore peace and tranquility throughout the LAC in the Western Sector and would allow progress in bilateral relations.

Meanwhile, both sides agreed to maintain security and stability on the ground in the Western Sector.

The two sides agreed to stay in close contact and maintain dialogue through military and diplomatic channels and reach a mutually acceptable solution to the outstanding issues as soon as possible.
