Twitter It continues with its changes to the platform, but not all of them are going to be crazy and thoughtless. Now paying subscribers of the blue bird social network will be able to upload longer videos to the platform. This new improvement applies a greater length to the videos that could be uploaded to Twitter until then, while was limited to 10 minutes and what now has been extended up to 60 minuteswhich gives much more play when adding content to the social network.
This limitation, in addition to time, has been seen increased in space logically. Previously a maximum of 512 MB was allowed to upload these videos, now this capacity has been extended up to 2GB, four times the previous space allowed. But for now this new feature reserved for Twitter Blue users through the websiteif we add video from our iPhone or Android we will find ourselves with the limitation of 10 minutes and 512 MB.
The quality with which the video can be uploaded has not changed, being 1080pbut it is also being studied to increase it.
With these longer videos, Twitter may seek to earn some more money with advertising, with a video of 6 times the current length you can sneak some ads for non-paid users, thus receiving extra advertising revenue. For the moment Twitter has not mentioned anything about it.
