‘Micromachismo’, ‘puntocom’, ‘portuñol’, ‘conspiranoia’ or ‘video player’ are some of the terms that have just been incorporated into the Dictionary of the Spanish Language (DLE), whose latest update adds more than three thousand novelties, both amendments and additions, included in its digital edition.

The update was presented this Tuesday by the director of the Royal Spanish Academy (RAE) and president of the Association of Academies of the Spanish Language (Asale), Santiago Muñoz Machado, and the director of the 24th edition of the dictionary, the academic Paz Battaner.
