Elon Musk has announced through a tweet on his personal account that Twitter users will now be able to see the number of views a tweet hassomething that we have always seen in the videos on the platform, as well as on other platforms such as YouTube, but that had been removed from Twitter many years ago.
Unfortunately, It seems to be a slow deployment, so for example in Spain it doesn’t seem to be available yet, while user accounts in the United States can already enjoy this feature, which will allow impressions to be shown to all users instead of remaining as a metric that only we can see.
Another of the functions that the public display of this number is expected to provide is to see which users seem to have bought followers, and it is that if normally an account that has many fake followers, or bots, can show very high numbers of followers.
However, at the same time, it was not difficult to see how their interaction figures were low, something that will be fully demonstrated when a user with even millions of followers have the same views as someone with tens or hundreds of followers.
