“What has happened is an interference from another power in the Legislature.” That is the diagnosis that Pedro Sánchez has made in Congress of the decision of the Constitutional Court to paralyze the processing of the reform with which PSOE, Unidas Podemos, and the majority that supports the coalition government, precisely intended to unblock the renewal of the guarantee court. An interference caused, according to Sánchez, because there is a “problem”: that the PP “does not recognize the electoral results.” That is what lies behind everything that has happened in recent weeks.

The ERC spokesman has extended his hand to the Government: “You want to present a law that recovers the knocked-down amendments, do it; we will be there. If you want to dignify the Constitutional Court, do it; we will be there. You want to dignify the Judiciary, do it; we will be there. The difference between you and us is that we won’t let you down. We will do it to dignify democracy. Before we are independentists, we are democrats ”, he has sentenced.
