First, it must contain at least twelve characters and variety of upper and lower case letters, numbers and symbols. In this sense, use a password generator would be the easiest, as confirmed by NordPass.
Something fundamental is do not reuse passwords, that is, the same password for several accounts. This makes it easier for hackers, who will be able to access multiple accounts once they have obtained that repeated password.
In addition, you have to be aware of what accounts are often used and which are never accessed anymore. It is in the latter where there is the most danger because, in the event of a leak, it is possible that the user does not find out.
Update password regularly It is always a tip to keep in mind. It is also useful check key strength, know if it is insecure, old or reused. Lastly, the use of a password manager It is the most recommended option according to NordPass, since it will be able to store the passwords and it will be the safest way to access them.
