The PSOE extends its advantage against the PP and Vox recovers, according to the CIS

The PSOE would win the general elections again if they were held now, and would do so with an advantage of more than five points over the PP, according to the Center for Sociological Research. The barometer for the month of November shows that the Socialists do not register any change in their estimated vote, but it does indicate that the popular ones have fallen by more than one point since October. In addition, according to the CIS, Vox is recovering slightly after its bump, although it is unable to overcome United We Can.

Those are the main data from the barometer for November, published this Friday. According to CIS calculations, if general elections were called now, the PSOE would obtain 32.7%, the same figure as last month. This keeps the PSOE in one of the best data in the series, well above the result obtained by 10N and with a wide cushion over the PP, which surpassed it in July.

The popular ones fall again and chain their third month down. The list headed by Alberto Núñez Feijóo for the general elections would bring together 27.2% of the ballots, compared to the 28.7% that the CIS estimated only a month ago. Although the data allows him to significantly improve Pablo Casado’s results in 2019, the result right now takes him away from the fight to win the elections and leaves the distance between the two parties at more than five points.

Below, already in third position, Unidas Podemos remains. The party leaves half a point between one barometer and another but remains above 12% of the votes – it fell below 10% – and retains that third place that it has in constant dispute with Vox in each new issue of the CIS .

Vox manages to recover, but his rise is not enough to regain third place. The formation of Santiago Abascal had been falling for months until reaching the bottom with 8.8% of the October barometer. Now the extreme right is slightly up to 10.1%. They are, yes, five points below the result they obtained in 2019 and which allowed them to win 52 deputies.

Finally, Ciudadanos remains at 2.5%, with a drop of two tenths. Although it is not one of its worst data in the recent series of the CIS, with that estimate, Inés Arrimadas’s party would have a very difficult time achieving representation in Congress, where it currently holds 10 deputies.

Díaz goes up and Feijóo continues to fall

The CIS leader evaluation table leaves the second vice president and Minister of Labor again as the best valued. Yolanda Díaz obtains a grade of 4.9, close to the pass mark, after raising two tenths. Pedro Sánchez, for his part, falls slightly but holds on to second place with a note of 4.42. The leader of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, chains a new month down and remains with a 4.25 grade and third place, after he managed to lead this ranking in July.

Behind the podium are the leader of Más País, Íñigo Errejón, the president of Ciudadanos, Inés Arrimadas, and the leader of Vox, Santiago Abascal, the latter once again as the worst-rated politician.
