The Community of Practice is an informal space for the exchange of good practices regarding the implementation of the 2030 Agenda in general and the preparation of Voluntary National Reports (VNIs) in particular; and aims to provide a space for regular dialogue between peers.

OBJECTIVE OF THE SESSION
This session featured a presentation by Dr. Najat Maalla M’jid (Morocco), Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary General on Violence against Children. The main objectives of this meeting were: a) to review the protection of children against violence in the 2030 Agenda and the participation of children in the INV processes; b) highlight the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on progress towards Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4 in the LAC region; c) reflect on inclusive and participatory processes for the meaningful participation of children and adolescents in the UN ECOSOC Youth Forum towards the HLPF; d) and exchange lessons learned on the inclusion of children and adolescents in the INV processes and the 2030 Agenda among all the participants.
