At least one Pakistani soldier killed and two wounded in an attack on the border with Afghanistan

November 14 (EUROPA PRESS) –

A Pakistani Border Corps soldier has died and two more have been wounded this Sunday in an attack in the Chaman district, Balochistan, as a result of gunshot wounds from a cross-border attack that would have originated in Afghan territory.

Local authorities have indicated that security officials based in Afghanistan have allegedly opened fire on Pakistani personnel on duty.

Thus, they have suspended activities at the checkpoint, since they do not plan to resume it until Afghanistan extradites the perpetrators of the crime, reports the GEO TV television channel.

Said channel has indicated that a meeting has been held between representatives of both countries, a meeting in which Pakistan has clarified that the door will be closed until the attackers are handed over to them.

Islamabad has also called for a ceasefire in the area. For its part, Kabul has indicated that the attackers have been anonymous terrorists disguised as the Taliban.
