Inside we find different chiplets that add up to a total of 56 high-performance P-Core cores with the architecture Golden Cove accompanied by 64 GB of HBM2e onboard memory as in the case of Intel Max GPUs, in this case, it is the first x86 CPU with this type of high-bandwidth memory. In addition, they have support for 8 channels of DDR5 memory and next-generation PCI Express 5.0 connectivity.

The Intel Xeon Max they also integrate different acceleration engines for Deep Learning, matrix multiplication, etc., while the memory can work both in single mode with HBM, as well as combined with DDR5, and in a third mode that uses HBM as a cache for DDR5 memory , depending on the needs of each server and environment.

Intel promises up to twice the performance in the most memory-dependent applications. They have also revealed that their TDP reaches 350W and that the maximum amount of memory they can manage is no more and no less than 6 TB at 4,800 MT/s in 16 DIMM slots for each processor.
