PlayStation Productions to seriously with its projects of adaptation of videogames to TV or to the cinema. One of them is the movie Grand Touring. We only knew about the tape a few months ago, but it seems to be going very well and now it has just been confirmed that it is already being recorded… although there is a mistake that the fans have already found and are making fun of it.
As we told you in the middle of 2022, Sony confirmed that there are plans for the adaptation of Grand Touring to movies and TV. The first project seems to be the most advanced, since today Sony Pictures shared the first image of the recording set.

This weekend, the company took advantage of its Twitter account to report that filming for the project is already underway. This announcement was made with an image in which you can see the set. Although it is out of focus, it is possible to make out that there are several race cars in what appears to be a racetrack.
“Filming on the Gran Turismo movie is ongoing. Based on the true and inspiring story of a great player of Grand TouringJann Mardenborough, who won a series of gaming competitions, which led him to become a professional race car driver,” Sony Pictures reported.

Fans found first mistake in the movie Grand Touring
Also seen in the image is a clapperboard indicating that it is scene 49 at the 3 hour 41 minute mark. What caught our attention, however, is that on this tablet you can see the logo of Grand Touring something different from the original logo.
In case you can’t tell the difference, it’s an error in the colors. Apparently, the production will be based on the originals with blue and red colors for the “G” and “T” (unlike the current logo, which is usually presented completely in one color). However, the colors are misused.
In case you missed it: big celebrities will be part of the cast of the film Grand Touring.
We say this because the circular part of the “G” is well colored with blue, but the stick that simulates the inner part of the letter appears in red, just like the “T”.
Naturally, fans were quick to point this out, some seriously and some jokingly. There are others who criticized how it is possible for the production to miss this error.

So far we have not seen the official logo of the film, so we cannot know if the color of the logo will be modified for this special occasion. However, it seems to be more of an oversight on the part of the production that perhaps used an incorrect or unofficial Internet logo and embodied it on the clapperboard.
