It’s not uncommon to see live streamers do Q&A sessions, but they do it using the available tools, which may not always be the most appropriate. That is why, as we can see in a YouTube Creators video, the company has added a tool to make these question and answer sessions more bearable when they are done live.
This new feature, called Live Q&A, uses the same system as Live Chat in live broadcastsbut it is structured differently, with different rules to help make live broadcasts more interactive.
The question and answer sessions can be started during a live broadcast using the Live Control, and when working on the same Live Chat system, it will still be possible to ban words and report questions that are not appropriate, something that will serve to reduce the load on the moderators, who will not have full control of the question and answer session either.
The questions will be ordered chronologically, and will disappear after 200 questions. Users will only be able to ask one question per minute, and this functionality will not be available in YouTube mobile apps for now, so we will have to wait for it to be fully functional.
