During the PlayStation 2 generation, the fighting game franchise Def jam It caught the attention of the community for bringing together great rappers and urban music figures of that time. Unfortunately, everything indicates that the IP is in a long lethargy and will not return soon, a situation that naturally disappoints fans who are patiently waiting for the release of a new installment.
Despite the fact that the series hasn’t seen the release of a new title for 15 years, the label Def Jam Recordings from time to time shares posts related to fighting games on their social networks. However, gamers are fed up with being made fun of by the record company.

On July 5, the official Twitter profile of the music company shared a publication asking fans what city they would like to see in an upcoming franchise video game. The community, however, did not react very well and took advantage of the comments section to criticize the absence of a new title.
