One year after the premiere of Arcanethe first animated television series inspired by the universe of League of LegendsRiot Games celebrates its anniversary with drops and events for the entire community.
Through the official Twitter account of Arcane it was revealed that various events will be held over ten days to celebrate the series’ first anniversary. “On our first anniversary, we want to take a moment to thank you, the fans. We have a lot of fun in store for you, so save these dates! #ArcaneAnniversary.
Arcane recalled the launch, alluding to what happened in November 2021: “We open the Hexgates to immerse ourselves in the worlds of Piltover and Zaun like never before. After sharing nine episodes, we are completely humbled by the response. After all this time, we are still in awe of the support from you, the fans.”. And he closed with: “We can’t thank you enough for being such a big part of our trip and we look forward to more celebrations.”.
In turn, as a reason to celebrate the first anniversary, a special 10-day agenda was announced so that fans of LoL and the animated series are closer to Arcane.
Arcane, the series is available for streaming on Netflix. Based on the world behind League of Legends, Arcane dives into the delicate balance between the wealthy city of Piltover and its shady counterpart, Zaun. Known throughout Runeterra as the ‘City of Progress’, these cities are home to many of the brightest minds. But the creation of Hextech, a way for anyone to control magical energy, puts that balance at risk.
Although Arcane includes the backstories of various League of Legends champions, the series is meant to be a stand-alone game, with a complex world filled with moral choices, stunning animation, and a suspenseful narrative.
