The issue of good practices and the implementation of ex ante competition measures for digital platforms in Latin America constitutes a key policy area. Digitization is increasingly becoming a central factor in economic and social relations. In this process of advancing the digital economy worldwide, a scenario of greater complexity is generated in the design and implementation of public policies.
The discussions and conclusions of this workshop allow us to continue advancing towards the definition of policies and the structural changes demanded by the region, where the issue of competition is a key element in the advancement of a more inclusive digital economy, with greater incorporation of added value. , employment generation and, of course, welfare.
