The first thing you have to know before taking the measurement is that if you do it through the WiFi signal, it will be less reliable than if you do it by connecting the device to the network, since the further you get from the router, the worse the received signal will be. or there may be interference, so the results will be unreliable. However, if you always surf via WiFi, it will help you to know how strong your signal is, especially when multiple devices are connected at the same time.

How to interpret the results?

We indicate how you should interpret the results if you do the measurement from a PC or laptop:

• Approximately 10 MB: This is enough in a household where one to three people use the internet, so if this is your case, you have an optimal connection.
• From 3 to 8 MB: this speed is considered low, but with which you can navigate without many problems.
• Less than 3 MB: in this case it is insufficient both to browse the internet and if you want to use your Smart TV and consume content from platforms such as Netflix, HBO, etc.

On the mobile phone the results are different and you must measure it with the mobile data network that you have contracted.

• 4G+: speed up to 1,000 Mbps.
• 5G: speed up to 10,000 Mbps.

If the results of the speed test are very low, we recommend that you change some of your browsing habits.
