We say this because they soon noticed that the design is somewhat different. Rouge the Bat debuted in sonic adventure 2 (2001), a title that reveals the design that until now has been considered the main one, characterized by fitted black pants, huge white boots and a prominent pink heart-shaped neckline.

Many wanted to see the jewel-thief bat wearing her classic outfit (considering that practically all the characters have been faithful to her original design), but apparently the art direction opted for a design more similar to that of sonic heroes and even more conservative.

By comparison, Rouge’s wardrobe in Sonic Prime it looks discreet and even flat. We say this not only because of the neckline, but because the design in general does not have any element that stands out, not even the boots, which have the same color as the suit, instead of matching the white gloves.
