We start with Project Scorpio, which is described as a shooter Premium PvE (Player vs. Environment) tactician. The plan is that once the title reaches the market, it will adopt the game-as-a-service model and receive long-term content and support. Behind this project we find Underdog Studio, the same CI Games internal team that works on the Sniper: Ghost Warrior saga. Because another of the Polish company’s projects is a new Sniper: Ghost Warrior, Underdog Studio will receive support to complete both jobs.
Regarding the launch of Project Scorpio and the new Sniper: Ghost Warrior, we only know that in both cases it is scheduled for 2024 or 2025.
In third place we have Project Survive, a new intellectual property developed with Unreal Engine 5 that, as its code name indicates, fits into the survival genre. CI Games considers this genre to be on the rise and says it is in a position to eat a piece of the cake. This title, which will be available between 2023 and 2024, is carried out by HexWorks, the same studio that is also working on The Lords of the Fallen right now. Like Underdog Studio, you will have support to manage both projects
Regarding The Lords of the Fallen, it is neither more nor less than the biggest project in the history of CI Games as well as a reboot of the title that appeared in 2014. The ARPG for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC was presented last summer in the framework of the Opening Night Live 2022 and for now it has only been seen with a cinematic. Despite this, The Lords of the Fallen has already raised a lot of interest among gamers. The title will be available in 2023 and its first gameplay Will it be seen before the end of this year… at The Game Awards 2022?
Lastly we have Project III, which will be a new ARPG that HexWorks will be working on when it’s done with The Lords of the Fallen.
