Google Keep introduces an option to drag and insert images into other 'apps' on Android devices

July 4. (Portaltic/EP) –

Google has introduced a new capability in the devices Android which allows users to drag, drop and insert images saved within Google Keep to other compatible apps in its ecosystem.

The Mountain View company launched Google Keep in March 2013, a note-taking application that was born as an alternative to other tools, such as Evernote and OneNote, which can be synchronized with services such as Google Drive.

At the last annual Google I/O developer event, the manufacturer announced that it was updating more than 20 of its own applications for Android tablets, work that would also have affected this note service.

Google has implemented these changes in version 5.22.242.00.90 of Google Keep for devices with the Android operating system, both tablets and smartphones, as verified 9to5Google.

For its part, the company explained on your blog that, from now on, Google Keep users can drag, drop and insert images saved in your notes to other applications.

In this way, once they have a certain image open in this service, they can take it to other applications in the Google ecosystem, such as Gmail. Thus, users will be able to attach a certain image to a message, instead of doing it manually from the email itself.
