But a Videocardz reader has shown slides from what looks like an Intel event comparing its most powerful processor, the Intel Core i9-13900K, with the top of the range from AMD, the Ryzen 9 7950X. In the slides we can see that Intel beats AMD as far as gaming is concerned.
In the slides you can see the comparison of these two top of the range with the performance they offer in several titles, including The Riftbreaker, Marvel´s Spider-Man remastered or Arcadegedon. All in all, the Intel Core i9-13900K offers between 1% less performance in a single title up to 22% more performancethis makes an average of a 11% advantage with the Intel CPU than with the top of the range AMD in games.
In addition to testing it in 12 games, where Intel is superior in 11, they have also shared slides with the performance in software for content creation. This time the Intel Core i9-13900K is on par with the AMD Ryzen 7950X in 3 of the PugetBench tests, with 3% less in Photoshop and 4% and 16% more in Auto CAD and Autodesk respectively.
Tomorrow we can finally get out of doubt when these new Intel Raptor Lake are available.
