Oct. 19 () –
The Ukrainian authorities have denounced this Wednesday a new wave of air attacks launched by the Russian Armed Forces against various points of the Ukrainian geography, especially in the capital, kyiv.
As detailed by the State Administration of the City of kyiv, the air defense has managed to shoot down “several Russian missiles”, although it has stressed that at the moment the conditions for canceling the alerts are not met and has recommended that the population take shelter in shelters.
For his part, the governor of the homonymous region, Oleksei Kuleba, has extended this recommendation to the rest of the area, alleging that air defense systems are operating in the territory, according to the Ukrinform agency.
Along with the capital, another of the hottest spots is the Vinnitsa region, in the center-east of Ukraine; as well as Chernigov, in the north. Russian missiles have been sighted in both territories and even in Chernigov the explosion of an Iranian-made Russian drone has been confirmed.
This new wave of Russian attacks is confirmed just a few hours after Russian President Vladimir Putin decreed martial law in the Donetsk, Lugansk, Kherson and Zaporizhia regions, the four territories annexed to Russia after the fraudulent referendums held in September.
