This Wednesday, the president of the Generalitat, Pere Aragonès, appears before the plenary session of the Parlament to present the new ERC Government. The Executive has been formed after the departure of Junts, who for the first time in this legislature will be in the opposition. Aragonès will intervene from 9:00 a.m. and without a time limit to report the changes in the composition of the Government, after which the groups will have ten minutes to respond; the president will be able to reply without a time limit, with a subsequent turn of responses. Later, Aragonès and the Government will face the control session.
Outside the Catalan Parliament, the delay in processing the Trans Law has opened a crisis in the PSOE and in the coalition. This has led to the decision of Carla Antonelli, the first trans deputy in Spain, to withdraw from the Socialist Party. In an interview with elDiario.es, she assures that “there were no problems with gender self-determination in the PSOE until Podemos brought Equality.”
