A 24-year-old woman has been arrested for the murder of Lula, a twelve-year-old girl whose body was found on Friday inside a trunk in a Paris neighborhood.
The suspect has been formally charged this Monday for a murder crime with the aggravating circumstance of “acts of torture and barbarism” and “concealment of a corpse”.
The girl’s parents reported her missing on Friday. She was last seen in the company of the suspect in a recording of the security cameras in the building where the girl’s father worked as a security guard. She was later recorded alone dragging a heavy trunk and two smaller suitcases.
A witness stated that the young woman asked him for help to find a means of transportation and helped her get to a cafeteria. He later saw her get into a vehicle with the trunk and the two suitcases.
Later, she returned to the neighborhood with her luggage and called her sister’s home, who had welcomed her a few days ago in the apartment where Lola’s parents live. Before the questions of her sister, the suspicious one left the trunk in the patio. She was finally arrested on Saturday morning.
Another man, a friend of the main suspect, has also been accused of concealing the body, according to judicial sources cited by the BFMTV network.
