A total of 31 establishments from the three provinces of the region will participate in this traditional initiative.
Once the call process is complete, the Explore Coquimbo Project of Ministry of Science, Technology, Knowledge and Innovationand executed by the Northern Catholic Universityreleased the list of educational establishments that will be part of the Explora Regional Congress of Research and School Innovation 2022.
This activity, which will be carried out in person after two years, will take place on October 27th of this year in the Northern Catholic Universityand once again, it will be a space for socialization where students from various establishments and/or educational institutions will be able to present the results of their research or school innovation projects.
31 applicant teams from the provinces of Elqui, Limarí and Choapa were selected to participate in this event, seeking, in this way, to grant maximum geographic coverage and privilege those establishments that complied with what was ruled in the call stage.
In this way, girls, boys and young people will be able to demonstrate their interest in deciphering what surrounds them, and also, in generating new knowledge in their communities, with a view to contributing to the solution of the various problems that affect, today, the Coquimbo Region.
In this regard, the person in charge of the Regional Congress, Natalia Arias, expressed satisfaction with the wide participation in the application for the event. “We had 31 selected teams, of which 18 represented the Elqui province, 15 the Limarí province and 6 the Choapa province.”
Likewise, Natalia commented on the great enthusiasm of the participants and the Explore Coquimbo Project for the realization of this event: “after 2 years of pause and not being able to see each other in the eyes, we will be able to meet again on October 27 in person at the Northern Catholic University”.
