Overwatch 2 debuted this week and Blizzard Entertainment also took the opportunity to bring a new heroine to the game: Kiriko. Naturally, as with the other characters, this healing ninja helped by the spirit of the fox will have unlockable skins and content, but if you are a player who does not want to spend anything in the game and wants to get everything because you liked Kiriko, you will have to be patient, as it could take you up to 5 years to get all the content for this new character.

Kiriko just appeared on Overwatch 2 as the 35th character in the series and you can now use her in games. Fans did not take long to check all the cosmetic content for the young woman and realized that it is so much that to unlock it she will require 15,600 in-game coins.

How much does it cost to unlock all of Kiriko’s items in Overwatch 2?

Well, this figure may seem large… and it is. In fact, players can earn up to 60 coins per week for free by completing weekly challenges.

This means that free-to-play (F2P) players who do not want to spend any real money will have to be very patient and complete the 260-week weekly challenges in order to have enough coins to get all the items (not including those of season and future) of Kiriko. This equates to precisely 5 years, as pointed out by the reddit user Autumn_hi.

If patience is not your thing and you would not mind spending some money on the game, then you should know that you can get coins with real money. In the store there are packages of 500 coins ($4.99 USD), 1000 coins ($9.99 USD), 2200 coins ($19.9 USD), 5700 coins ($49.99 USD) and 11,600 coins ($99.99 USD).

As you can see, not even the most expensive package would be enough to buy all of Kiriko’s content, without it being necessary to buy this one ($99.99 USD) and 2 of 2200 coins ($9.99 USD) to have the necessary coins. This means that in total you would have to spend almost $120 USD to unlock everything for Kiriko.

In case you missed it: take advantage of! You’re still in time to get a great legendary Kiriko skin for free.

Don’t be discouraged and better watch Kiriko’s fantastic story video

If Kiriko stole your heart and you are also a free-to-play player, you may not have liked this news, but we remind you that this additional content is cosmetic and does not affect gameplay; furthermore, it is not necessary to enjoy Kiriko’s story.

In fact, Blizzard Entertainment a few hours ago shared the story trailer for this character, which shows Kiriko’s kind and protective side in the purest style of this series (with great animations) and best of all, you don’t have to unlock it or anything like that, but it’s available for free. You can see it below in both English and Latin Spanish.
