Call for rapporteurs on Open Science

The theme of our next webinar series is “Open Science: Best Practices and Lessons Learned from Latin America, the Caribbean, and Beyond.”

After our successful series of webinars held at 2022, 2021 Y 2020we want to continue promoting the exchange of ideas, best practices and lessons learned, highlighting specific initiatives, projects and innovations in this field.

This is a good opportunity to participate in the conversation with a wide community interested in Open Science. We invite you to share your experience, through a 30 minute presentation, followed by a question and answer session from the audience.

We invite you to be part of the 2023 Cycle, sending a summary of your presentation, about the indicated topics, but including any of the following topics:

  • Projects that have contributed to greater accessibility and inclusion in open science
  • Data repositories and infrastructure for open science
  • Research data management
  • Data journals and open books
  • Best practices and lessons learned from the use of AI and data science.

The proposal must include a brief description of your initiative and how it contributes to improving open science in your institution, country or region (maximum 500 words). Along with the proposal, share your title, affiliation, short CV and contact details. You can also submit relevant links and supporting documents to the proposal.

Deadline: January 31, 2023
