Nintendo releases the official trailer for “The Super Mario Bros. Movie”

the universe of Mario Bros. He has been in the video game market for years and in 2023 he will make the leap to the big screen with the tape “The Super Mario Bros. Movie”. Nintendo dedicated a Nintendo Direct conference to the film. Not only to see the first official trailer, but also Chris Pratt and Jack Black joined the event.

Pratt declared himself a big fan of Mario and Luigi, two characters that will be present in the film. While with the eccentricity that characterizes him, Jack Black commented that it is really all about him.

“While you were playing Mario, I was getting ready. Look at all these Koopa muscles I’ve put together. Have you ever wondered how long it took me to learn to breathe fire?”, comments Jack Black in the presentation of the trailer.

The villain’s goal is to visit all the kingdoms and steal the stars. Eventually, he will arrive at the Mushroom kingdom, where Mario Bros. will apparently first arrive, since he doesn’t recognize the mushrooms that live there.

One of them will be in charge of being your guide through the fantastic lands of the kingdom. Meanwhile, Nintendo shows us images of Luigi trying to escape from the Dry Bones, or the skeletal Koopa.

Release date

After many rumors, Universal and Nintendo finally confirmed the release date of “The Super Mario Bros. Movie.” The arrival in theaters is scheduled for April 7, 2023.
