Twitter has announced a new format of mixed publications, in which videos, images and GIFs can be combined in a single ‘tweet’, which is now available for the iOS and Android application.
Until now, the social network only allowed to write a ‘tweet’ of up to 280 characters and include up to four photos, a GIF file or a videoas stated in his Help Center.

So, Twitter indicated that this feature was only available to some users for a limited time. In addition, it could only be accessed through the mobile application, since it was not enabled for the Desktop version.
With this, he expressed that with these tests he hoped to “learn how people combine different formats to express themselves creatively beyond 280 characters.”
The company has now confirmed through a statement on your blog that it is implementing this feature for iOS and Android and that different media files can be inserted in the same tweet.
