After reviving the purchase offer, what will happen with the trial between Musk and Twitter?

Twitter vs. Elon Musk: the trial for the purchase of Twitter will begin in October

So if the businessman doesn’t close the deal by then or re-sign the deals, the whole thing could fall apart and he’d have to pay a $1 billion fine to Twitter.

Musk could turn Twitter into a super app

After reviving the original offer to buy Twitter, the businessman tweeted that this action was an “accelerator to create X, the application of everything”, but did not provide more details about it.

Quickly, the specialized media began to speculate about Musk’s intentions to create a superapp, which are too popular in Asia, especially in China, where the technological giant, Tencent, is one of the main representatives through WeChat.

These applications have the ability to work for a large part of mobile needs, such as requesting a taxi ride, ordering food delivery, making payments or even sending messages, thus replacing several applications with one.

The reason Musk links Musk to superapss is that he had previously expressed an interest in WeChat during a meeting with Twitter employees. “You basically live on WeChat in China because it’s very useful for your daily life and I think if we could do that, or almost do that with Twitter, it would be a huge success,” he said.
