The Government hopes to have the Budget bill in the Council of Ministers on Tuesday, after yesterday, Thursday, a comprehensive package of fiscal reforms was unblocked. These include changes to income and corporate taxes or the creation of a new tax for assets of more than three million euros.
Meanwhile, the crisis in Catalonia continues. After the dismissal this Wednesday of Aragonès to the vice president of the Generalitat, now Junts has announced that next week he is going to ask his bases about whether or not he should leave the Government. The consultation, which will be internal, will be held on October 6 and 7.
In judicial terms, the visit of the EU Commissioner for Justice, Didier Reynders, to Spain ends. He does so by interviewing, among others, the president of the General Council of the Judiciary, Carlos Lesmes.
