Amazon renews the Echo Dot, updates the Echo Show 15 with Fire TV and introduces a new Fire TV Cube with HDMI input

After revealing the Kindle Scribe, Amazon has introduced a new generation of Echo Dot and Echo Dot with Clock, whose main innovation is an improvement in sound quality, and announced that the existing Echo Show 15 will be updated with Fire TV. The company has also shown the third generation of Fire TV Cube, the most powerful to date and the first in its family to add an HDMI input port and Wi-Fi 6E.

The new Echo Dot and Echo Dot with clock will be available from October 20 for 59.99 and 69.99 euros, respectively.

With respect to Echo Show 15, mention that soon this device will be updated so that its users can access the content of Fire TV. This will allow the use of services such as Movistar+, RTVE Play or ATRESplayer, among others.

Finally, we have the third generation of Fire TV Cube, which thanks to a 2.0 GHz Octa-Core processor has earned the title of the most powerful Fire TV to date, with 20% more power than the previous generation. The device maintains features such as voice control through Alexa and compatibility with 4K Ultra HD, Dolby Vision, HDR and Dolby Atmos, while in the news section we have an HDMI input port, Wi-Fi 6E, an additional USB and Super Resolution Upscaling image processing technology.

According to Amazon, Super Resolution Upscaling technology “provides enhanced picture quality by upscaling HD content to 4K for sharper images with better contrast and clarity.” The new Fire TV Cube is priced at 159.99 euros and will be available from October 27, 2022.
