“It is necessary to highlight that participation in this outstanding event contributes to the increase of commercial opportunities and the promotion of Peruvian exporting companies in specialized spaces of great international interest. In the same way, it allows us to contribute to position Peru as a supplier country for the construction and chemical sector for this item, through a differentiated, sustainable and adaptable offer to international demand”, highlighted the official.
Expocamacol is the event that unites the business and professional sector of the construction production chain around exhibition, business and updating activities in the Colombian and Latin American market. It has a demonstration space, innovation showcases, product launches, academic agenda, knowledge and trends. PROMPERÚ has participated in the fair as an exhibitor from 2010 to 2022.
In Colombia, the opportunities for Peruvian companies are focused on the traditional importer and niche wholesale channel, with a contribution to sales equivalent to 50%.
Peruvian offer to the world
The Peruvian offer that was exhibited in the last edition of Expocamacol focused mainly on the forestry sector, since Peru is a mega-diverse territory with 68% of its territory covered by natural forests, a space where sustainable companies with the environment they industrialize the wood to make floors and doors with an interesting scale to offer competitive prices.
Likewise, the presence of other natural resources allows the development of the metalworking industry, which translates into the sale of products linked to home security, such as locks of different models and thickness, as well as the development of chemical products for the application of nanopavements that allow improving connectivity between communities, economically and its corresponding industrial application.
