Replacing the old stats page, the new section provides a clearer overview of what’s hot on Steam in real time. On the page we see a new list of the best-selling games, ranked by total revenue, including additional content and in-title purchases. Valve explains that the goal is to “provide a more complete picture of the games players are looking forward to and which ones they keep playing.” Additionally, the new method for calculating revenue has been rolled out to other store rankings such as the Best Sellers tab.
The list with the best-selling Steam games in real time that you can check this link, has been part of the platform for a long time, but with the renewal it has gained several improvements. The number of weeks games appear on the chart is now displayed, information is added about the number of positions titles move up or down, and there is the ability to change the region to generate country rankings. The list provides a representation of current sales including all revenue sources, but if a DLC is selling very well, it will be added individually to highlight its success.
Right now the five best-selling games in the world and in Spain are the same: Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, PUBG, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, Slime Rancher 2 and FIFA 23.
For its part, in the most played list, the 100 games with the highest number of players playing in real time are ranked, along with data on recent spikes in user numbers for each ranked title. A daily player count view is also available, ranking games based on the total number of unique patrons over the last 24 hours. Likewise, those interested can view weekly salesa list that has long dominated Steam Deck with an iron fist.
