A month after the separation of Shakira and Gerard Piqué due to alleged infidelities on the part of the Spaniard, more details have come to light that reveal what the relationship of this former couple was really like.
According to the program ‘Ya es midday’, the Colombian was never well received by those closest to Piqué, among them, his own teammates from FC Barcelona, a team he has played for for years.
The journalist Lorena Vásquez, who has been closely following the outcome of this relationship, commented that the singer was very jealous and possessive of Gerard, so much so that the Spaniard’s friends and playmates called her “La Patrona”.
“Everyone in Gerard Piqué’s circle knows Shakira as ‘La Patrona’ because apparently, she didn’t spend too much good character with the footballer’s friends either,” Vásquez explained in a quote shared by Unicable TV.
“She has never mixed too much with Gerard Piqué’s lifelong friendships, nor even with the rest of the wives, of women of Barça players. And that has been a problem that the couple has had since the beginning of time,” she added.
Another fact to consider that the journalist has commented on during the program is that the artist plans to leave her life in Barcelina, Spain, to go to live in Miami (United States).
She makes this decision because, with her separation, she has nothing to tie her to this country, so she would be waiting for her children, Milan and Sasha, to finish their studies to leave Spain together.
