You may remember that 1 month ago we informed you that KRAFTON has some projects in development and that one of them was a video game that would adapt the Korean fantasy novel The Bird That Drinks Tears. Well, the game hasn’t been officially announced, but KRAFTON is getting his fans excited about it and as an example is his first trailer that reveals the concept of the adventure.

The novel created by the Korean writer Lee Yeongdo debuted in 2003 and KRAFTON is making one of the first and most important attempts to bring it to video games, and he plans to do it in a big way, since he considers it a world-class project.

As is common in these cases, readers who already know the work have their own image that they create of the characters, since there is no other multimedia adaptation.

KRAFTON posted a stunning trailer for the game The Bird That Drinks Tears

Well, for the first time the players will be able to see how the world of the written novel will be represented thanks to this game and KRAFTON has just allowed us to take a look at it.

The trailer is a visual concept of what the adaptation will be, so you must take into account that it does not represent the final product, which will run on Unreal Engine 5.

In case you missed it: KRAFTON is creating a hyper-realistic virtual human.

The protagonist of the trailer is Kagan Draca, who is also the protagonist of the Korean novel. As we mentioned, this character is one of the 4 members that make up the squad that will enter the dangerous territory of the Nhaga tribe to rescue a collaborator of this tribe who informed them of a heinous plan.

In the trailer you see why he is known as the Nhaga Devourer. This character is specialized in exploration and has survived in the Nhaga region, which not only has a non-sound communication system called Neam, but they are also immortal.

The human has managed to defeat many Nhaga, although the countless battles have also taken a great emotional toll on him.

If you can’t watch the trailer below it’s because it’s age restricted on YouTube as it has violent content.
