As it has been discovered in a story that the YouTube channel GamersNexus has revealed from an internal investigation -and that later has been confirmed by EVGA itself to the public— the company will stop manufacturing and marketing NVIDIA graphics cards.
This leads the company, notably before the announcement of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 Series cards, to abandon its graphics card business, although evidently, will continue to have support from the company. This also implies, despite the existence of functional engineering samples, that these models will not see the light.
Among the points made by EVGA, the reasons that accompany this decision they have to do with NVIDIA’s treatment of graphics card assemblersand it is that, among other things, on several occasions they have been losing money for some of the decisions made by NVIDIA, such as not knowing the MSRP of their models until the day they go on sale, or the enormous communication difficulties that exist
While these are standards that all builders must adhere to, it appears that EVGA’s relationship with NVIDIA It has gotten worse enough that the latter does not want to know anything about the GPU giant. The possibility has not yet been considered of making Intel or AMD cards, but only time will tell.
