Weeks ago we informed you that Game Freak was giving away Ash’s equipment in Pokémon Ultimate Journeys to celebrate that he was competing to become the best trainer in the anime universe of Pokemon. This week it was the turn of the most valuable Pokémon on Ash’s team in his last battle.
As we told you, the series is in one of the most important stages in its entire history. Ash just defeated one of the fan-favorite Pokémon Trainers, and to celebrate, Game Freak couldn’t give away another Pokémon other than Lucario, the star of the battle that just concluded.

How to get Ash’s Lucario in Pokémon Sword & Shield?
All the players of Pokémon Sword & Shield You can now claim the Lucario that Ash carries in his team and that shone in the recent battle against Cynthia.
Just like in the anime, Ash’s Lucario will have the Aural Sphere, Bullet Fist, Metal Laser and Reversal attacks, an attack with which he last hit Cynthia’s Garchomp and gave her the victory.
Unfortunately, unlike the anime, Ash’s Lucario you will receive will not be able to Mega Evolve, as this gameplay mechanic is not available in Pokémon Sword & Shield.
In case you missed it: is giving away shiny Eternatus and 3 very elusive rare Pokémon, but players from Latin America will struggle to get them.
It is not necessary to have an active subscription to Nintendo Switch Online, but all you have to do is connect the console to the Internet, and in the Mystery Gift menu select the option to receive by code. There, you will only have to enter the code HAD0 UW0C ATCH before September 29.
With this Pokémon, players will already be able to form the strongest team of Ash Ketchum (not counting Pikachu with Ash’s hat, since this Pokémon is only being distributed in Japan as part of the Pokémon Movie Fest).
