Ezentis has communicated this Friday that the State Society of Industrial Participations (SEPI) has definitively rejected its request for a rescue of 70 million euros.
The company has transferred to the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV) the refusal of the public holding company one day after the deadline for granting the rescues, set for June 30 after an extension of six months, has expired.
The company will now study other ways to restructure its debt, which exceeds 150 million euros, to continue making the company viable with the launch of a new strategic plan.
Since its ransom request was made public on June 16, Ezentis has lost more than 55% of its value on the stock market and is currently trading at 0.63 euros.
The Solvency Support Fund for Strategic Companies has approved 30 operations for an amount of 3,255.8 million euros.
Ezentis titles rebounded somewhat more than 3% at the time of knowing the final dismissal of public aid.
