Chromebooks have always been teams that do not seem to end up fitting into a specific segment beyond that of educationand partially, and it seems that even Google has decided to abandon them in order to save costs in the company as one of the superfluous products in its range.
As we read in PhoneArenaGoogle has discontinued the Pixelbooks and disbanded the team behind them, so for now we will never have a Chromebook directly from Google againbut we will have to go through other companies like Acer, which have recently introduced new models of these teams.
The latest Pixelbook launched in 2019 to a somewhat negative reception from the press, while on the other hand Google has also been slow to launch new Pixel tablets, so in general it is clear that the company is totally focused on launching new Google Pixel terminalsin addition to a supposed mixed reality helmet in which they would be working.
It is to be hoped that this cost-saving gesture translates into a budget increase in other areas, such as the development of Pixel terminals, or that it is even one more way to improve the development of Google’s mixed reality helmet.
