Investigation of the attack on Argentine Vice President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner continues

The investigation of the attack on the Argentine vice president, Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, has two young people detained, Fernando Sabag Montiel and his girlfriend Brenda Uliarte, who were compromised through the images of the security cameras, raids, exchange of telephone calls and the weapon involved in the incident.

So far, it has not been possible to verify whether they both belong to a political, terrorist or sect group, but they did maintain a controversial and violent profile on social networks. The detainees refused to testify and are housed in facilities of the Airport Security Police, while the expertise is carried out in the laboratories.

Security specialists affirm that there were serious flaws in the Government custody devices, in charge of the Federal Police, and should be investigated, said Federico Calabró, Bachelor of Security.

“If he had been a death professional he would have carried the weapon prepared with a bullet in the chamber. The shooter was not skilled in the use of the weapon and with a simple movement he would have loaded it and fired it. In the manuals it says that the first group must be circumscribed and advancing on the aggressor and the other group should have immediately evacuated the Vice President to a safe place. There could be a second shooter or a car bomb, “said Calabró.

Meanwhile, from the Government and Kirchnerism they insist that there is a hate campaign promoted by the opposition and others.

“The focus is that such a climate of violence, of hatred, has been generated, that someone put a revolver to the vice president’s head and triggered it. What is clear is that it is gestated in a hate speech, which has been going on for years, and is what is being attempted by the press, politics and the judicial sector,” said former Vice President Amado Boudou.

Opposition maintains dual position

From Congress, the political opposition maintains a dual position, since they repudiated the incident, but they also express their mistrust and suspect a political operation, said Luis Juez, a senator for the PRO, as the center-right Republican Proposal Party is known.

“If you are sticking your finger in the eye, provoking and generating situations, this was going to happen. I am very careful. The subject must be investigated, it must be condemned. Justice has to reach the highest level of investigation, but we should not put fear, that they do not paralyze us, that they do not gag us, that they do not neutralize us, that they do not take advantage of this opportunity, this situation, this moment to try to intimidate the opposition, journalism, justice.”

The judge and the federal prosecutor advance in an accusation for attempted aggravated homicide, because it had planning, logistics and execution.
