Football Manager 2023 already has a release date for PS5, Xbox Series X and PC

The latest release of the legendary Sports Interactive and SEGA saga, Soccer Manager 2023makes its official debut on November 8 for the first time on an unprecedented variety of platforms and devices, including PlayStation 5 and Apple Arcade.

For the first time in the history of the series, the depth and emotion of the leading football management simulator game comes to PS5. FM23 Console, designed for the Dualsense controller, will be released alongside the PC/Mac title.

After a year of absence, the popular Touch version returns to Apple devices through the Apple Arcade platform. iPhone, iPad, Mac or Apple TV users and Apple Arcade subscribers will be able to make their mark on and off the pitch at FM23 Touch.

Miles Jacobson, Studio Director at Sports Interactive, said: “FM23 marks another step in the Football Manager saga with its release on two new platforms. Fans have been asking us to create a title for PlayStation for years, so it’s very exciting for me to be able to offer those players the most similar experience to being a real football manager.

The decision not to release a Touch game for iOS or Android in 2021 was a difficult one, and no doubt a disappointment to some of the fans. This exciting collaboration with Apple Arcade rediscovers a popular title for us in a way that makes sense both to us as a studio and to the broader FM community.”

FM23 brings fans closer to all aspects of the beautiful game, from the fans in the stands, to the scouts, players, rival managers and newly licensed competitions such as the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League and UEFA Europa Conference League. In the coming weeks we will reveal more features of the game on the Football Manager social networks, the website and FMFC, our hub for Football Manager members.

From today until launch, fans who pre-order FM23 (for PC and Mac) from a SEGA-authorized digital retailer will get a 20% discount and the chance to start their career as a professional manager sooner than expected, with early access to FM23. Pre-order in the Microsoft Store will be available soon.

Early Access will be available on Steam, the Epic Games Store, and the Microsoft Store approximately two weeks before the official launch, and any single-player races started during that period will carry over to the final game.

Fans who purchase a physical copy of FM23 will find that this year’s edition does not include a disc. Instead, the package contains an exclusive code that, once redeemed, allows you to play via Steam, Epic Games, or the Microsoft Store.

By removing the disc and notepad from this year’s edition, along with other changes to our eco-friendly packaging, the overall carbon footprint of FM23’s packaging will be 47% lower than FM22’s. In total, the overall gCO2 equivalent of Football Manager packaging has decreased from 256 in Football Manager 2019 to just 66 in FM23.

FM23 Console, formerly called Xbox Edition, joins the FM23 family on the Microsoft Store and Xbox Game Pass from day one. Xbox Game Pass for Console will be at its best, focusing on the most important aspects of football, such as transfers, tactics and match days, from the comfort of your couch, while Xbox Game Pass PC will offer access to unparalleled depth and realism. of FM23. Both titles, just like last year, will be available to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members.

Football Manager 2023 Mobile (for iOS and Android) prepares for a new successful campaign. We will reveal more information about the features in October, before the official launch on November 8.

In addition to Apple Arcade, Football Manager 2023 Touch will also be available for Nintendo Switch.
